  Rather than looking at the example of Peter's faith, wouldn't it be appropriate to look at the example of the faith of Islamic extremists?

  Both JWs and terrorists pray for the deaths of billions of innocent victims, focus on their supposed reward in paradise, and put faith in invisible promises instead of look at reality. While the terrorists are ready to bloody their own hands and blow themselves up, the JWs stand by litteratrash trolleys, knock on doors at inconvenient times, leave scraps of tracts that blow into the gutter, and boast a website that gets buried under an avalanche of anti-JW websites.

  Shouldn't WT be going head-to-head in the Middle East and make great efforts to convert the devoutly faith-strong Muslim world to become JWs?

  Another 21 "last days" have passed since this thread started. So that would be 3 "last weeks" and almost 1 "last month" that have passed.

  I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that 21 days puts that in the "false prophecy" category.

  83,000 theocratic facilites?

  a bethelite was telling me that there are 83,000 theocratic facilities world wide.

  he compared that to 35,000 mcdonalds and 21,000 starbucks roughly to show the size of the theocratic organization.

  i am not sure where the 83,000 comes from what would he be counting?

  anyway...... during the bible highlights, a newly appointed ms explained why construction is being curtailed in some areas.

  The explanation was to be found in 1 Chronicles where David went through all the work of preparing materials for the temple, but was then informed that he would not be the one to build it.

  It would be reasonable to conclude then that the current GB 2.0 is the Greater David and will be followed by the next GB 3.0 which will be the Greater Solomon. This Greater Solomon GB will build cities and palaces, marry the daughter of Pharaoh and 700 other wives. This GB will also have 300 concubines for when things get slow with the wives, because Jehovah made him extra wise on figuring out these things. But then these wives will draw the Greater Solomon GB's heart away from Jehovah so that they begin worshiping other gods.

  there is a certain elder in my wives hall that has seemed to developed a real interest her.

  first he seemed to feel a need to make sure all her blood cards were signed before she gave birth to our child.. he sends her text messages if she misses a meeting saying how much " we missed you last night ".

  he finally sent her a text wondering where her oct hours were , knowing she had some pretty serious tears from child birth and could hardly even walk, much less do field service ".

  One Year Later - A Thank You to Tony Morris.

  i wanted to send you a note of "thanks" on this special day.. why is this day special, you may ask?

  one year ago today, you, tony, woke me up to the fact that the governing body could not have jehovah's blessing or direction.. last year, on november 8th & 9th, 2014, the united states branch visit was broadcast to over 1,000,000 jehovah's witnesses across the country.. as i sat at the kingdom hall listening to the "historic occasion," i was ignoring certain doubts that had surfaced in the few months prior.

  From what I remember about Morris’ stupid talk, I think that he must have been referring to some kind of exercise pants, like some sort of tight jogging pants or “yoga pants” – which would make more sense, because I couldn’t imagine anyone going out jogging in a suit such as Chris Pine was wearing in those photos.

  ToMo condemned both women that wear tight exercise clothing in public and "young fellas" that wear "tight pants".

  Repeatedly he condemned women wearing yoga pants or Spanx in public and claiming to be JWs. Which is kinda ignorant because Spanx is mostly undergarments that I think a lot of sisters would like. Maybe they make some outerwear. But the yoga tights he's talking about is more like Lululemon. For example, here is a picture of a sister in lululemon tights running away from ToMo and a judicial committee:

  
  

  When he talked about "young fellas" that wear tight pants, otherwise known as tight pants (whatever he meant by that), something like this might come to mind as his "too tight" example:

  
  

  But we all know that when it comes to JWs judging others dress and grooming, some like ToMo are far more interested in judging the outward appearance rather than looking for the good in hearts. Because when he talked about pants being designed by homosexuals, he was opening the door to condemn any brothers that wear any flattering clothing that might be perceived as physically attractive. After all, sisters are supposed to only be attracted to an MS pioneer in an oversized polyester suit that he got at Goodwill.
